Dr. Barry Benton
Dr. Barry received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Furman University and went on to receive his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Barry continued his education at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where he received his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry. In the summer of 2016, Dr. Barry joined Dr. Benton (his father) at Designer Smiles by Benton.
Dr. Barry is board-certified and one of the youngest practicing orthodontists in the nation to be a Diplomate on the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Dan Bills, D.M.D., M.S., is a Harvard-trained, Board-Certified orthodontist and respected educator in the field. As the owner of Innovative Orthodontics in Southern New Jersey and faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and Virtua Hospital, he is known for his expertise in clinical advancement, technology integration and practice efficiency.

Dr. Alyssa Carter
Dr. Alyssa Emory-Carter, DDS, MS, is a forward-thinking orthodontist recognized for her clinical excellence, leadership, and enthusiasm for the future of the profession. Dr. Ryann Christensen is a passionate orthodontist dedicated to transforming smiles. Inspired by her own orthodontic journey as a child, she pursued her dream with excellence, earning dual degrees as a Smittcamp Family Honors Scholar at Fresno State before graduating top of her class at UCLA Dental School. She then completed UCLA’s Orthodontic Residency and Oral Biology Program, refining her expertise in transforming smiles.

A recognized leader in the field, Dr. Whitlock has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and has spoken nationally on the use of SureSmile technology. He remains actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Arkansas State Dental Association, and the Northwest Arkansas Dental Association.
Dr. Whitlock finds great fulfillment in his work, viewing orthodontics as a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on his patients’ lives. I took my undergraduate degree in Oklahoma State University, receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I then completed four years of dental school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Ultimately, I received my Master of Science degree in Orthodontics after three years of study at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
I had the honor of having been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Identifiably Orthopedics and have spoken nationally about the use of SureSmile. I am an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Arkansas State Dental Association, and the Northwest Arkansas Dental Association.
I am very blessed to work in a field that helps me to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I meet.
